PURPOSE

Geekly engages in corporate operations based on addressing Japan's social issue of low labor productivity.
Japan ranks last among the G7 nations and 27th out of 38 OECD member countries in labor productivity.
We believe that this stems from various companies and organizations having been unable
to realize increased productivity through the use of IT.

Although there is growing attention on "digital transformation (DX)" and "AI,"
most workplaces and sites across Japan continue to face a chronic shortage of IT talent.
Through over 10 years of operations in the IT recruitment service market,
Geekly has encountered the reality that Japanese society as a whole has been
unable to realize the strategic placement of IT talent.

Geekly has reaffirmed our Purpose to define our reason for being a company,
which is to contribute to increasing Japan's labor productivity through strategic IT talent placement.

When Geekly was founded in 2011, there were approximately 17,000 fee-charging employment placement offices in Japan, the majority of which were general recruitment companies. Geekly, however, chose to specialize in IT and polish our expertise in order to pursue an even higher level of customer value. In addition, through strategic investments in our own media platform and television commercials, we established a strong brand recognition exemplified by the phrase, "When you think of IT recruitment, think of Geekly." Today, we stand out in the industry for the number of job opportunities we offer with a specialization in corporate IT talent.

Through our continuous pursuit of customer value, we have achieved an exceptionally high repeat rate within the industry. We have evolved from a flow-based business model, where the interaction ends after a successful recruitment, to a stock-based model. Furthermore, our sales composition is built on a stable customer base, without maintaining a dependence on any specific client company.

We provide both individuals and companies with the ability to choose from a wide range of options and focus on enhancing "selection quality." Through the process of self-selection, we are able to drive high engagement and reduce mismatches. In addition, by continuing to thoroughly polish our internal systems and operations, we enable talent to express their full potential as quickly as possible.
